Nokia c3 Full review: A to z about your Nokia c3

So, you wanna buy a Nokia c3. Looks cool, has a qwerty must be a great phone huh?? NOOO!!

Nokia c3

I bought Nokia c3 4 months back thinking that this was a Symbian s60 phone. But to my surprise it was a series 40 low end mobile with mid level hardware such as wifi and edge support. Although the mobile is good for using social sites like facebook and twitter it had serious problems like it cant keep you online for a long time. I get disconnected quite often and every time I have to restart my mobile to keep it working. You can set up to 5 email accounts including yahoo gmail and aol on your Nokia c3. The most frustrating part of using the c3 is when you want to minimize your application to access your inbox and you realize that you cannot minimize your mobile application on nokia c3 that is running. And that also means no multitasking except for some proprietary apps like you can run music player in the background while browsing the internet and simultaneously swap through your conversations and inbox. The battery on the mobile is exceptionally good. I don’t talk much but text a lot and I live in the internet, so for my kind of usage I get roughly around 1 day after full charge. About the 2 mega pixel camera. I must admit the camera is worth for the price. Day time pictures are cool and the night ones are too grainy. Same with video recording, but surprisingly you get a good frame rate (15fps) qvga. Apart from all these the mobile supports wifi. There is no cons about the wifi, its pretty good and I simply like this feature a lot (stealing anonymous open wifi internet in public malls.) The mobile has a chat features where you can login your yahoo and Google messenger and chat live just like how you do it on your pc. Overall I would say this mobile is good for browsing internet, texting chatting and calling. Don’t expect Super dooper freaky apps for this mobile. Like I used to search voip apps at first and realized lately that c3 doesn’t have SIP at all. Choose wisely. If you want more spice then get the Nokia c5 or c6 the Symbian series are way far better than the series 40 mobiles.

If you have any queries about the mobile please feel free to drop your comments and I will reply instantly. (I will also teach you how to hack your Nokia c3 to multitask.. What’s more?? I’ll teach you to update your Nokia c3 firmware though your USB)

Google’s new privacy policy and terms of service

As we all aware of the fact that most of us don’t really care about the privacy policy terms and End User License Agreements(EULA), which when displayed during a software installation or during a registration we simply click next of agree button. Its not really the time required that matters in reading the terms, but we always trust the service provider(in this case Google inc) and also we don’t have any simple alternative so that we can opt for it when we don’t like the terms.

The current situation is; the people are no more afraid of hackers or any other individual who might steal personal information, rather they are afraid of governments and law institutions. According to Google’s transparency reports(http://www.google.com/transparencyreport/governmentrequests/) there is a large increase in the request for the user data last year. This new move in Google combining the policy terms in its various products like Youtube, Google+, Google search etc., might be to show the advertisers that advertising with Google brings them close to the customers and thereby gaining in the competition with Facebook and other rival companies. Below is a snapshot taken from the Google’s privacy policy and terms of service overview page showings its obligation to provide user data for governments and law institutions upon legal requests.

Even though there are various methods to protect our privacy online, as far as I know the best way to protect our privacy is not to revel it online. Anything that is put online is no more just ours. The privacy critics are more concerned and we can also expect certain criticism from rival companies of Google in the case of monopolizing it with integration of other products with Google search.
